DESCRIPTION:Do you know someone who is caring for a loved one with early to moderate-stage dementia\, Alzheimer’s or other forms of memory loss? \nPlease tell them about our free Equine-Assisted Memory Café coming up on Monday\, September 11th\, from 10-11:30am at the BEAMING barn! \nThis is a great way for caregivers and their loved ones to enjoy a horse experience\, getting out into nature\, and socializing with others who are going through similar challenges. \nParticipants will enjoy meeting\, grooming and walking the horses and other interactive activities such as making and feeding horse treats\, educational presentations\, musical performances\, arts and crafts projects\, bird and butterfly watching\, planting flowers and other outdoor and barn activities. \nThese hands-on horse experiences offer participants and their families an opportunity to engage in a social gathering and meet others for support. \nTo attend\, we just ask that you RSVP to our Center Director Katie by texting or calling 920-851-6160 or emailing incbeaming@gmail.com \nSee details on our Facebook event page here

SUMMARY:Horses\, Hearts & Heroes Veterans Support Program
DESCRIPTION:BEAMING is honored to provide local veterans with no-cost private equine sessions. Our goal is to provide safe and enjoyableexperiences\, whether it be grooming\, walking or riding horses\,groundwork or other fun activities at the barn.  \nEquine-assisted services help reduce anxiety\, improve strength\, balance\, motor skills and cognitive awareness\, help with anger management\, exercise memory and sequencing abilities.  \nParticipants have a range of diagnoses including but not limited to amputations\, spinal cord injury\, traumatic brain injury\, stroke\, anxiety\, depression and post-traumatic stress.  \nThis is a great way to meet and bond with fellow service members.
