DESCRIPTION:We are excited to host a first-ever Christmas in July Carnival & Craft Fair on Saturday\, July 27\, 2024 from Noon-4pm at the BEAMING Ranch\, 2692 County Rd. GG\, Neenah. \nThis community event is a collaboration between BEAMING and other area nonprofits. It is an opportunity for visitors to meet with and learn about the important work being done by organizations and resources available in our communities. \nProceeds from the event will support Special Spaces\, a nonprofit that creates dream bedrooms for children with cancer.  \nThe event will feature activities including interaction with horses\, kids’ carnival games\, face painting\, balloon art\, food trucks\, raffle baskets\, and local crafters. Attendees will also have the chance to see the Vinland Fire Department Truck and Equipment\, the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department emotional support dog\, and meeting Santa for photos. \nParticipating nonprofits include Big Brothers and Big Sisters\, Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services\, Family Services Counseling Clinic\, J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue\, NAMI – Oshkosh\, Oshkosh Area Community Pantry\, Rawhide Youth Services\, Wild & Free Animal Rescue\, and 4-H Youth and Development. \nAdmission is $10 per car\, and tickets can be purchased in advance HERE or attendees can pay at the event. \nPlease note that this event requires closed-toed shoes! \n  \nChristmas in July Carnival & Craft Fair is sponsored by BEAMING Ranch and the TREG Foundation Fund. \n  \nFood Vendors:   \n\nCRAFTER AND NONPROFIT BOOTHS STILL AVAILABLE!\nIf you know or are a part of a nonprofit organization – or a crafter – that would like to participate\, please contact incbeaming@gmail.com. \nDOWNLOAD THE EVENT FLYER HERE (PDF)

DESCRIPTION:BEAMING is honored to provide local veterans with no-cost private equine sessions. Our goal is to provide safe and enjoyableexperiences\, whether it be grooming\, walking or riding horses\,groundwork or other fun activities at the barn. \nEquine-assisted services help reduce anxiety\, improve strength\, balance\, motor skills and cognitive awareness\, help with anger management\, exercise memory and sequencing abilities. \nParticipants have a range of diagnoses including but not limited to amputations\, spinal cord injury\, traumatic brain injury\, stroke\, anxiety\, depression and post-traumatic stress. \nThis is a great way to meet and bond with fellow service members. SUMMARY:"Home on the Range" Free Memory Cafe
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exciting free Memory Café on Wednesday\, September 13th at the Thompson Center on Lourdes in Appleton from 10-11:30am! \nThis is a wonderful opportunity for caregivers to spend quality time with their loved ones with dementia\, Alzheimer’s or other forms of memory loss. \nEnjoy meeting mini horses from BEAMING\, music from a cowboy singer\, a presentation about cowboys and the wild west\, cowboy trivia\, decorating cookies and fun! Complete with prizes\, free bandannas and sheriff stars! \nThese hands-on experiences offer participants and their families an opportunity to engage in a social gathering and meet others for support. \nThis collaborative event is brought to you by BEAMING\, the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Outagamie\, Calumet & Waupaca Counties\, The Thompson Center on Lourdes and The Fox Valley Memory Project.
